Nisha's Reflections Part 9

Next Up was Bukit Timah Nature Reserve! This place has some of the primary rainforest left on our little island!! This reserve is part of Singapore's highest hill and its composed of ancient granite. And you know there used to be tigers in this place! However the last tiger was shot in Bukit Timah Hill in 1924. Also there used to banded leaf monkeys here which was an exclusive specie in Singapore till the 1960s but the last one vanished in 1987 after being killed by dogs =(( so sad huh? I love animals! boohooo

But still there are sooo many normal monkeys there now! (: I found the signs in this place pretty funny and interesting! SEE PICS BELOW!
